Don Turner (1937-2025)

The County were sad to hear the passing of Don Turner.

He was a servant of Surrey Athletics and Epsom and Ewell Harriers for over 70 years and was an ever present at county, league and club events during that time as well as many events accross London and South East England,

Don was not only an accomplished timekeeper, but he was also a fine distance runner, a respected member of the athletics community and held many positions within Surrey Athletics including the annual U13 Inter County event. Only last autumn he assisted with the administration on the North London XC Championships.
