The men finished fourth out of five teams, with the women fifth out of seven.

The women had started strongly with a win from Megan Bailey in the pole vault and second in both strings of the 400 hurdles from Akesha Smith and Montana Jackson. However gaps in the field saw them slip back as the day progressed.

Our other A string winners on the day were Sam Shore in the 400 hurdles and Eilish O’Grady in the 2000 metres steeplechase.
