Middlesex T&F Championships 2024 – Results

Thank you to everyone who attended this weekends County Championships which for once were graced with sunshine on both days.

We would like to thank all the athletes, officials, Lee Valley Staff and supporters who helped make it such an enjoyable two days.

Thank you for your patience as we had to sort various issues after having to find replacement photofinish equipment with 24 hours notice. As a result some of the usual features such as trackside clock were not available.

To clarify another point, the Championships are run under UKA rules. As a result from this season U13 and U15 athletes are only permitted to run one race over 600m in the same day. Depending on entries that means we either have to hold heats and a final on subsequent days or as we did this year hold time-trials which was the approach taken when the age groups were split by day. It was felt this approach allows athletes to run the 1500m and 800m or 3000m over the weekend rather than opt for just one event.

We wish you all a successful remainder of the season including the Southern Inter-Counties meeting in September and look forward to seeing you again at the Indoor Championships in March 2025 or Outdoor Championships next May.
