Phil Whetton reports “It was a dry, warm & sunny day for the Inter Counties XC Champs at Wollaton Park, Nottingham, today.
Middlesex medal honours went to the Middlesex U13 Boys team who won team bronze medals, with Filip Kounoupas-Prastalo the highest placed finisher in 4th place!
The Middlesex senior women & senior men weren’t so fortunate, with injuries & other races this weekend reducing both teams to below the 6 to score needed for a full team.
In the senior women’s race Eilish O’Grady finished 64th & Emily Davies was 85th out of 266 finishers.
In the senior men’s race Kader Seyed did well to finish in 110th place out of 277 finishers while fasting for Ramadan.”
