Middlesex Cross Country Championships 2023 – Update

The course was inspected today and unless there is a unexpected deterioration overnight the races will take place tomorrow. The forecast is for sunshine and the Heath currently looks stunning. The course is well grassed and the majority of the racing line will be firm or soft by 11.00 when the races start. The route has been marked to help runners avoid particularly rough ground. Some shady parts of the course, where there is standing water, did have some ice however these can be avoided or negotiated with spikes.

Please note West Hill was closed today due to emergency water mains works with a lengthy detour in place. This may still be in place on Saturday.

Please note there is an event in the Lido and the car park may be busier than usual.

Team Managers and Individual entries can pick up their numbers from Race HQ in the Athletics Track Pavilion.
