County Walking Championships 2024

Middlesex was included in the VAC/Surrey/Sussex/Hertfordshire event, held at Norman Park track on Saturday 19 October. I was one of the race walk judges and my Middlesex colleague Shaun Lightman was another. Shaun was a 1968 Olympian. Our winners were:

WOMEN: Chik Ha Kwok 62minutes 10.9 seconds (W45)

MEN: Man Bui Lam 64:31.0 (M65)

Both represented Hong Kong in the World Masters in Gothenburg in September but have been resident in London/Middlesex for many years. They belong to Metros AC.
