SEAA U16/U18 Inter-Counties 2026

The last major Track and Field meeting of the season was held at a soggy Kingston. After a stella but long season for many of the County’s young athletes it was probably understandable our U18 teams were weakened by late withdrawals, However this did not stop a host of great performances and PB’s. There were 5 event winners:- Lashaun Thorpe-Mclean (ESM) U18 200m, Daniel Jelfs (SMR) U18 1500m, Robin Greenwood (Trent Park) U16 1500m, Nathan Griffiths (Hillingdon) and Anu Jaiyeola (SBH) U16 200m.

This saw the U16 Girls finish 2nd U18 Men 3rd the highest position we have recorded for several years. Well done to the athletes and team managers Clyde Gordon and Norma Grimsey
