Middlesex County regrets to announce the tragic death of Shannon Powell at Trent Park on Saturday 8th January. Shannon was representing her club Ealing, Southall And Middlesex A.C. in the Under 15 girls race at the Middlesex cross country championships when she was suddenly taken ill. Despite the combined efforts of coaches, team managers and medical staff, it was not possible to save her. Our deepest condolences go to all her family and friends.
