Roy Stratton (1937-2023)

We are sad to announce that Roy Stratton passed away peacefully on Tuesday 28th November.

Roy had been at the centre of Middlesex athletics for more than 30 years, serving twice as our President. He will be missed.

His funeral is on the 5th January at 11am. The address is:

Followed by 12.15pm a Service of Remembrance at St Annes Church, 200 Larkshall Rd, London E4 6NP. There will be a zoom link available for those that are unable to attend next Friday

The family would prefer that a donation made to the British Heart Foundation rather than any flowers.

Followed by the Wake at the Larkshall Pub, 205 Larkshall Road, E4 6NT.

Parking is available at the Larkshall Pub for anyone attending the church service.

Everyone is welcome to attend both the cremation and the service of remembrance.

The family are trying to capture numbers for catering at the Wake so if you are aware of who might be attending please let Major Carr know.
